Jonas and Nanna

We ventured on down to Nanna and Grandpa's house this weekend. Laura's niece had a b-day part at McDonald's, so we had to let the grandparents see Jonas. I took quite a few photo's, but these were my favorite by far.

He's actually happy! We are having a little bit of trouble with formula's. We think he has acid reflux. We are currently on soy and rice cereal. He seems to be doing a little better. If this doesn't work, we may have to go to nutramigin. We really don't want to do that because it is so expensive. Also, we hear that it stinks to high heaven.


One thing that was great on Saturday, due to him being happy, he smiled at me twice for the first time. Yep, just melted my heart.

Can you believe this kid????

We are having a ton of fun with him. The hospital really has him on a 3 hour schedule. It has been nice.



You can not keep this kids arms in the swaddle blanket. He is very strong.

Nursery Update

Nursery Update

We had our first baby shower. It was great!! We received tons and tons of stuff. One of which was our wonderful bedding for the crib. It looks awesome, as you can see below. The room is really starting to come together. Laura only has another 5 weeks to be full term, 37 weeks! I can't believe it is getting so close. These last 8 months have really flown by. To tell you the truth though, we are both ready for Jonas to get here.




In case you guys were wondering, my mother made this bedding. It is amazing.

Also, my mother-in-law, Laura's mom, bought us the crib and changing table. We couldn't be happier with both. Thank you moms!!! We love you both!!

New Nursery Update

Well...We received word that the crib and changing table were in. I drove right on over to JC Penney's and picked it up. I dove into what I thought was going to be the easiest piece, the changing table. WRONG!!! It took me nearly 3 hours, but that might be because I was watching the biggest loser at the same time. The crib didn't take me nearly as long. I surprised Laura with putting the crib together, because she thought I was only going to do the changing table.

Nursery Update

Well, we are coming along on the nursery. My parents come up for the day to help me paint. They are the best!! It won't be long before there is some actual furniture, and a BABY!!!

You see that folks?? Doing trim work WITHOUT TAPE!!! That is why she is my mom. Only the best!!

Koda really didn't do anything except get paint on him. This is what he looked like after I yelled at him a few times.
